What We Believe

The Bible is God's eternal word. It is complete in sixty-six books of the Old and New Testaments. The Scriptures are verbally and completely inspired of God and accurate. It is our perfect guide in all matters of life.

The one Triune God, eternally exists in three Persons - the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, each having a distinct ministry equal in being, essence, power, and glory.

Jesus Christ is both man and God and He is co-eternal and co-equal with God the Father, as the second Person of the Trinity. He was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary. He lived a sinless life and took the sins of the world, shed his precious blood, and died upon the cross for all mankind. Today He is seated at the right hand of the Father as our High Priest, Intercessor, and Advocate.

The Holy Spirit is the third person of the God-head, co-equal in all areas and attributes with the Father and the Son. He is our Comforter and guides us in all areas of our lives. He also blesses us with spiritual gifts and empowers us to yield the fruit of the Spirit.

Salvation is a free gift of God to man. It is received by repentance of sin and this gift is effected by grace through faith in Jesus Christ which produces works pleasing to God. The believer is eternally secure in Christ and is forgiven of all sins (past, present, and future) and has a perfect standing before God as in Christ Jesus.

Water baptism is an outward act that demonstrates a believer's identification with the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus.

Holy Communion is a celebration of Jesus’ death and our remembrance of Him.

The Church is an assembly of those who are born again, baptized (immersed) believers, united for worship, instruction, fellowship, prayer, and to fulfill the Great Commission. Jesus Christ is the sole Head of the Church, and each local church is a seperate organism and is autonomous.
